Overview

Propel is an AI-powered proposal writing app. This policy explains what information the app handles and how. The short version: we don't require an account, we don't sell your data, and your proposals live on your device.

Information stored on your device

Your proposals, drafts, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain user accounts and do not store your documents on our servers.

If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it. You can also export proposals as PDF files, which are saved wherever you choose.

AI processing

When you use AI features (generating, improving, or chatting about a proposal), the text you provide is sent to our server, which forwards it to a third-party AI provider to generate a response.

• Content is sent only when you actively use an AI feature.
• We do not use your content to train AI models.
• Content is processed to generate your response and is not tied to an account or identity profile.
• Avoid including sensitive personal information (such as government IDs or financial account numbers) in proposal content.

Purchases & subscriptions

Subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) and managed through RevenueCat, our subscription infrastructure provider. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier and purchase information to validate your subscription. We never see or store your payment details. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent your personal information.
• We don't show third-party ads.
• We don't track you across other apps or websites.
• We don't collect your contacts, location, or photos.

Data retention & deletion

Because your documents are stored on your device, you are in control: delete a proposal in the app, or delete the app, and the data is gone. AI request content is retained only as needed to operate and secure the service.

Children's privacy

Propel is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
